  • Kiddos finish a session and talk to their parents about the “new friend” they have named Alison. Dads walk away saying “Really?! That’s it? We’re done? Where did the time go?” And Moms end the session feeling relaxed, delighted and excited to see their sneak peeks.

    Hi, I'm Alison Mundie...and I make people feel comfortable in front of a camera.

    Yep, it's true. I draw people out of the “you’re pointing a camera at me so I need to stay perfectly still with an odd cheesy grin on my face until you lower that thing” phase, and into being themselves.

    When you’re with me at your photo session, there's no need to worry about who needs to be where and at what time. We focus on enjoying your kids without hustle and hassle, just playing and having fun together. I’m there watching, encouraging and capturing that enjoyment!

    So, if your family photos look like this...

    {Notice the lovely scowl on my eldest’s face … and the can-I-get-back-to-my-blackberry look my husband has. Or simply notice that I’m NOT EVEN IN THE PHOTO!!}

    ...give me a call, I'd love to work with you!

    A Beautiful afternoon at a beautiful vineyard

    After MONTHS of trying to get together for a photo session, we were finally able to make it happen last week.  We had a great time running around the 8 Chains North winery (which, by the way, makes a fantastic red for all you red wine drinkers out there!).

    Here are some of my favs from our session together.  Enjoy!  And thanks for calling me again!!  ~Alison

    Madeline the model :)

    Another one of Dr. Apt’s patients came to see me last week… Madeline.  I like to call her Madeline the Model since she was so professional to work with!:)  What a beautiful fall day (even if the breeze was a bit too much at times), which went perfectly with a beautiful young lady!:D

    Enjoy your sneak peeks!!  ~Alison

    everyday life at the mundie abode…

    Once again I am taking a class on lifestyle photography from my new favorite teacher, Brooke Snow. :)

    This I decided to capture the everyday “lifestyle” of our home.  At the time only my youngest, Ellie was at home, but homework is certainly an EVERYDAY (or at least nearly everyday) activity here.  Here are some of my favorites…
